Connect your Concept2 PM5 and ski through seven immersive 3D routes. Chase medals, race your ghost PB, and follow proper training plans. Every stroke moves your skier forward in real time.
Most SkiErg apps give you numbers on a screen. SkiEr gives you a mountain to ski down, a pace to chase, and a reason to finish the set.
Seven procedurally-generated routes across pine forests, frozen lakes, sunset peaks, and moonlit ridges. Each with its own weather, light, and medal targets.
A translucent skier representing your personal best glides alongside you. See exactly where you're ahead, where you're behind, and where to push.
Customise your avatar's suit, skis, and poles across ten colour options each. Small detail, but it's your avatar on that mountain.
Every route has its own rhythm, visual environment, and medal target. Ski the same route twice, you'll see the terrain differently.
Five plans for different goals. Each one progresses week by week with distance targets, intervals, tempo work, and time trials. Built by people who actually train.
Build form, consistency, and confidence on the erg. If you're new, start here.
Chase your 2K personal best with targeted threshold work, tempo intervals, and time trials.
Pure power and speed. Short, brutal sessions designed to raise your peak output.
Go longer, go further. Progressive distance work paired with Z2 base-building.
The SkiErg is station 6. Train for the specific 1K pace demands of race day.
We're shipping more plans after launch based on what you actually train for.
Swipe through a few of the screens — home, a workout in progress, gear customisation, settings.

No subscription. No account. No data harvesting. Just a serious training app you pay for once and then forget about — until the next session.
Yes. The app connects to the PM5 via Bluetooth using both the FTMS standard and Concept2's own protocol. If you have a SkiErg with a PM5 (the standard package), you're set. The older PM3/PM4 monitors aren't supported because they don't have Bluetooth.
No. It's £9.99 one time. You own the app, you get lifetime updates, and all your data stays on your device. We'll add a separate optional SkiEr Pro tier later with power-user features — but the core app will always be a one-time purchase.
Yes. Once installed, everything runs offline — the 3D scene, routes, training plans, metrics, history. Internet is only needed to sync to Apple Health, Strava, or Game Center, and only if you use those features.
Any iPhone running iOS 17 or later. That means iPhone XS / XR and newer. For the 3D scene to look best, iPhone 12 or newer is recommended, but it runs fine on older devices.
The Watch app needs your iPhone nearby because that's where the PM5 connects. The Watch shows live metrics, interval phase, and PB pace on your wrist while your phone handles the Bluetooth connection and 3D scene.
Not yet. v1.0 starts fresh from the moment you install. We're looking at ErgData CSV import for a future update if enough people want it.
All your workout data is stored locally on your device in Apple's standard SwiftData store. Nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly connect Strava (which uploads individual workouts you complete) or enable Apple Health sync (which stays within Apple's ecosystem). We don't have servers. We don't have an account system. There's nothing to hack.
Lifetime updates means we keep shipping. Here's what we're actively working on — no dates, no promises, just honest direction.
Tighter animation on the 3D skier, better pole and ski rendering, and more avatar customisation options.
New terrain types, new weather, new times of day. We're building a library of places to ski, not a fixed map.
More goal-specific plans based on what athletes actually train for — Hyrox, 500m sprint, ultra-distance.
Bring your existing PM5 workout history in from Concept2's ErgData app so nothing starts from zero.
We ship what we're sure of, and we tell you about what we're not. Email us what you'd add.
